Dear Friend,

The intent of this letter is pure and simple – to call out the intercessors in the body of Christ to join us as we enter a time of purposeful petition on behalf of the special victims of human trafficking. Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal activity in the world second only to drug trafficking. Reports show that more than 800,000 victims of this modern day slavery cross our national borders annually. Close to 300,000 of them are children forced into sex trade.

Truth for Women has partnered with VAST, a local organization bringing awareness, prevention, action and aftercare to the Lehigh Valley. (www.thevast.org) Our goal is to open up a Safe House this year. This is a residential home for rescued victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation where women can come home to a safe haven, offering dramatically changed lives and hope filled futures.

As Truth for Women strategically moves forward into enemy territory we know that our best efforts will fall short without the necessary prayer support paving the way. We need the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous people of God now more than ever. We are putting together a prayer team made up of serious members across the nation willing to intercede in their own homes, churches, or small groups for requests which will be sent out on a weekly basis – to stand in the gap as we access the ear of the King on behalf of others in desperate need.
