The 2006 Passionate for Truth Conference was held on Friday night, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at Stabler Arena, Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.   Bible teacher, speaker and author Kay Arthur challenged, encouraged and boldly taught truth from the Word of God during 4 powerful and life-changing sessions.  Singer, song writer and worship leader Alicia Williamson inspired, blessed and led all into the very throne room of God in worship. 

On Saturday, Kay shared from Nehemiah.  We saw how the heart of God's people and the condition of our community  is just like that of Jerusalem in Nehemiah's time.   Using Nehemiah's example - we can and should arise and build.  At the end of the conference on Saturday, women were given the charge to arise and build.  Hundreds stood, came forward and took a small stone from the "rubble" as a reminder of this charge and their commitment to arise and build. 

Of the over 1,000 in attendance, approximately 40 accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Of the 581 response cards received, 108 indicated they had renewed their commitment to Christ!  Hundres left with a greater hunger to know God through the study of His word!  Comments from some of the response cards are:
